We conduct research on the design and development of novel organic molecules, focusing on understanding their fundamental properties and utilizing them for practical applications. Our primary focus is on main-group element-doped or incorporated organic functional materials, aiming to develop the next generation of smart materials for optoelectronic applications, including organic light-emitting diodes and organic field-effect transistors.

The second part of our research involves the hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis of main-group-rich carbon dots and the investigation of their properties. These carbon dots will be explored for various applications. Our research is interdisciplinary, while we remain focused on main-group-containing molecules.​
